I just opened my last pack of dark brown beard dye and my beard turned purple! I’ve been using your product for years and this never happened! Please advise

Purple comes from alcohol. Beer, after shave, face products or shampoo that has alcohol in it. Lets say you do the beard prep with anti bacterial soap, it is high in alcohol. This will cause purple.
Also bottled water (distilled water) can cause a similar effect.
Solution – just mix up some dye if you see purple and apply for 10-15 minutes, rinse and it should be back to normal.

Thank You Rod! I’m still figuring out how it occasionally turns purple but must state that Your Beard Dye is a God Send! I’ve been using it for many years,
How long should the dye in my beard last? I’m older now and the silvers are like a spy awaiting their mission to attack:-)

Mine last about 12 to 14 days. If I trim it first and then dye it, it grows out the next 2 weeks and the new growth is not so visible. Once I trim it, then you can see all of the white again.
Alcohol is the biggest culprit of purple, certain gels, beard balms etc. I do have another customer who is a Pastor, and he uses 133 Beard Company Beard Balm products. specifically, Cedars of Lebanon.
